We hope you are happy with your product. If you are not, feel free to return it within 14 days of your receipt for an exchange or refund (less any handling fees). We allow returns on most rugs that we sell within the first 14 days of receipt for any reason other than damage (spills, tears etc…) as long as you make a written request post-dated no later than 14 calendar days after receipt.
Return Instructions
To return a rug, please send us a written request stating the order number, price, date of delivery and a signed statement that the rug was
not damaged while in your possession.

Upon receipt of your written request, we will send you a return authorization number and detailed instructions on how you can send the item back to the manufacturer to receive your refund.* Please note that you are responsible for return shipping charges. We suggest that you return the item by using either UPS or FedEx Ground or any other carrier that can track and insure its packages. We must be able to verify return receipt with a tracking number prior to issuing a credit.
* Items returned without a return authorization number will be refused at the warehouse and returned to the sender.
Delivery Refusal
You may refuse to accept delivery if you see that the rug is damaged at the time of delivery. We accept your right to refuse delivery only under two circumstances: damaged goods at time of arrival or wrongly shipped goods.
Canceling your Order
Once a rug has been shipped from a manufacturer, we are unable to cancel it. If delivery is refused on a non-defective order the shipping charges for sending the rug back to the manufacturer will be deducted from your credit because we are charged for the return shipment.
Rug Return Conditions
We are unable to accept returns on soiled or damaged rugs. If your rug arrived in a defective condition, please do not accept delivery and call us. We will be happy to arrange for its pick up and replacement free of charge. We do not accept returns on custom rugs, cut roll runners and custom designed rugs.
Packaging
Please securely wrap your rug back in plastic and do not fold it as this will damage the rug.

Handling Fees on Returns
Shipping and handling fees are not charged for products that are kept, or exchanged for products of equal or greater value.
Due to the amount of work involved in processing each order a handling fee is charged. The amount of handling fee charged is clearly shown on the order confirmation and is included in the information that is emailed. However, BestRugs edits at it sole discretion may waive the handling fee for sales that do not involve any returns. In some cases, BestRugs also may waive the handling fee if the customer changes a sales order for materials that are of equal or greater value.
